1991 Lotus Other 1991 Leitch Super Sprint
Background check
Description
Up for grabs is my 1991 Leitch Super Sprint.
Super fun and truly unique car to drive around. Weighing around 600kg this is a road legal go kart that just sticks to the ground and runs real smooth. Mechanically this car runs really well and everything works as it should.
It is powered by a Toyota 4age 16v NA engine with twin dellorto carburetors. (The carburetors could use some fine tuning for better performance) Linked up with a 5-speed manual Toyota Celica gearbox this car definitely has some great acceleration.
It has only driven 39,982km. (Will go slightly up!)
Front and rear end are ford escort with all round adjustable coil overs.
This car comes with a complete car cover as well as a box full of extras. Including new parts, different front fenders, half cover covering the whole car inside except the driver etc. (Driver seat is currently out but will put back in upon viewing) Getting new WOF this week!
Price is negotiable!

Hi would you swap for a manual 986 Porsche? Cheers 0222tomi (528 • 11:29 am, Sat, 13 Jun )Good day, sorry unfortunately not. Cheers! stiaanbotes (0 • Saturday, 13 June 2026 )The registration number plate on the Lotus Seven driven by Patrick McGoohan (Number Six) in the opening credits of the cult TV series The Prisoner is KAR 120C. The car was a series 3, but in the series it is referred to as a series2. Nice plate. zevons (128 • 7:09 pm, Tue, 16 Jun )Hey, lovely example. Hope you don't mind a couple of enquiring q's 😬 Where did you get the front guards from that are in the parts bin? Also did the hood come with it or did you have it made? kiwicarguy (691 • 5:51 pm, Fri, 17 Jul )Good day, thank you very much. I got the whole parts bin from the previous owner so I'm unsure where he got the front guards. I'm pretty sure the hood came with it, I personally didnt have it made. I bought it as is! stiaanbotes (0 • Friday, 17 July 2026 )
