1989 Lotus Other FRASER FC7
Description
This is the VERY FIRST customer Fraser car built after the company demonstrator, made by Neil Fraser’s company in Beach Haven, Auckland back in 1989. (Neil Fraser built himself a Lotus Seven Series 3 replica. His wife advertised it in the NZ Herald, cars for sale, as a joke. There was so much interest he started building them for sale. This is a piece of history.) Has been off the road for quite a few years and has been updated mechanically a bit since it was built. -The 18R engine has been replaced with an MR2 3SGE on 45mm Delortto side drafts approx 180HP.
- Limited slip diff fitted in the Ford axle.
- Willwood front calipers and rotors.
- Sierra Cosworth rear calipers and rotors.
- New Stack gauges
- Racetech harnesses and removable steering wheel.
- Brand new front adjustable Spax coil overs.
- Brand new Nankang semi-race tires and brand new Super Light wheels. Original ROH wheels also supplied.
Goes like a scolded cat and huge fun to be had. Difficult decision to sell but I have bought something else and need the space for when it arrives. The registration has lapsed many years ago and will need recomplying,shouldn’t be difficult due to the age and having previously being registered.
