2005 Mazda MPV

Only ever 1 NZ owner since import, lived in a garage it's whole nz life. 147k kms, 7 seater, people mover. Selling on behalf of the in-laws as they are moving to a retirement village and this vehicle is too big.

Great to transport the crew for up coming kiwifruit season, Great for a camper conversion, Great for the big families - load and go.

PROS: Chain drive - no cambelt, water pump done - see photos 15 - 20, Tints and window shields, low kms for age, service history available, carjam report purchased - see photos 15 - 20, current REGO and WOF, good tyres, electric sliding rear doors, super chill aircon (doesn't work on hot though), good condition interior - no rips, original carpets/ mats, 7 seats, Great boot space.

Cons: has a ding in rear bumper - doesn't effect anything, Rear driver side sliding door doesn't lock/unlock off the remote - need to do it by hand, aircon only goes cold as - doesn't go hot to defrost windscreen, a couple LED lights on dash are out - no probs in daytime but harder to see speedo at night, back gas struts are getting a bit lazy - need a hand for the last bit to open - stay up fine though.

When you say "shed stored" do you mean garaged or that no one has driven it for years? Any engine/tranny issues at all? Do you have maintenance records or could I ring your mechanic for a wee chat. No there is no label or marking for side airbags - it has one label on steering wheel and 1 on panel above glove box. Potentially the ES/LX model designation is for other markets - this vehicle has no badging nor description on rego nor carjam that defines its model jmc78 (334) • Sunday, 22 February 2026
