1992 Mazda RX7 - a distinctive sports hatchback with character.

This is a 1992 Mazda RX7 manual with the unique 1.3-litre rotary engine. I'm the first New Zealand owner of this imported model, and it's a genuinely interesting car to own.

The rotary engine has a very different character compared to conventional engines - it's smooth and loves to rev. The manual gearbox pairs well with it, giving you full control. Being a 4-seater, it's more practical than you might expect from a sports-oriented hatchback.

It's compact and easy to manoeuvre around town, but it's also got enough character to make any drive enjoyable. The RX7 has a strong following for good reason - it's a well-regarded platform with a unique drivetrain.
