2007 Mercedes-Benz Vito 109 Cdi Ka/L

For sale is my 2007 Mercedes-Benz Vito long wheelbase panel van. It’s done around 175,000 km and I’ve owned it for six years. It’s been a work van so it’s a bit rough around the edges cosmetically, but mechanically it has been extremely well cared for. It has been serviced exclusively by Sutherland Performance in Wellington (best European mechanics in my opinion) and never misses a service. I’m very particular with maintenance, so anything that’s ever needed attention has been properly repaired, not patched.

In my ownership it has had power steering lines replaced, front axle work, new alternator, glow plugs done, and a persistent turbo boost sensor issue fully sorted. The previous owner replaced the high-pressure diesel pumps and did a lot of preventative work. I have receipts going back about a decade. It has never had a major mechanical failure and has never once broken down or not started in the 50,000 km I’ve driven it.

It’s rear-wheel drive, long wheelbase, and honestly drives better than both my newer VW Transporters. It feels solid and balanced with an incredibly tight turning circle. Smooth on the open road and easy around town.

Originally white, it had a closed-door black respray before I bought it. Paint presents well but has normal chips and scratches. It’s on 18-inch Mercedes AMG wheels with brand new Pirelli commercial tyres on the rear and good front tyres. Has a tow bar, and I’ll include the roof racks (removed for detailing).

Interior is standard work van condition: some cracked plastics, a small hole in the driver’s seat, and general wear, but everything works as it should.

This has genuinely been my most reliable vehicle. Cheaper to maintain than my newer vans and extremely dependable. No mechanical or electrical issues to my knowledge.

Branding has just been removed, exterior polished, and interior cleaned. Selling only because it no longer matches my fleet and a camper conversion wasn’t approved with a baby on the way.
