1978 MGB 1800cc Convertible Has 12 months Wof and Rego.

Fun runabout sportscar for the summer!

Excellent running car, body and engine are in good condition. No rust issues. Paintwork is fairly poor - looks great from 5 meters away though. Seats need reupholstered, have covers on just now, look ok and function well. Steering cowl plastics need replaced. New: Tyres, Brakes, Plugs, Altenator, Water Pump, Brake lines, HT Leads, fuel filter and rocker cover. Have new spare center console, electronic ignition and engine mounts that you can have. Comes with good condition soft top and tonneau cover.

Yes it is. Been in NZ and on the road here for 20 years+ I think (I do have the records somewhere) . Although when I say on the road it was garaged and not used for many years so reduced wear and tear.The beauty of the American imports is they were all carefully under sealed and treated in the engine bay and firewall so next to no rust and very solid. jock143 (103) • Wednesday, 29 October 2025
