Description
Found another car I want, so this one needs to go. If it sells will keep this one. Rego on hold and been a race car since 2009. Mods were certified and was driven on the road with a motorsport authority card. Full race high compression 1950cc engine with alloy head built be GER, solid billet light weight flywheel. 45 dcoe Webber carb. Extractors are ceramic coated. Full electronic racing ignition with coil pack and crank angle sensor for timing and soft cut rev limiter with shift light. Starter motor just rebuilt. Wiring loom replaced by PO who was an auto electrician . Cold air intake from Demon Tweaks. Larger core radiator with electric fan ( only used on cool down), oil cooler relocated under front. Race seat and 6 point harness all current, ( original leather front seats also come with the car. Racing suede covered steering wheel. Homologated roll bar with side intrusion bars and MSNZ log book and T&C COD Front suspension has upgraded shocks and competition ARB. Vented brake rotors with Willwood superlight twin pot calipers. Rear leaf springs reset, track control arms and panhard rod. Rear drums are standard with competition linings. Early type banjo LSD with 4125 /1 ratio. Rear wheel bearings and seals recently replaced Gearbox has been changed to Mazda MX5. ( COD listed as Toyota) Comes with one set of 14x6 Minilite style wheels with used tyres. Windscreen was removed for racing, and will come with the car. Recently spent $5k getting the body tidied up, but not a full repaint. Has factory alloy bonnet and lightened with aero screen and doors. MG special tuning fibre glass front spoiler with ducting for oil cooler and brake cooling . Great handling car running in ERC classics and winner of BMC 4 cylinder class and first MG last season. Run once this season with a 3rd and 1st in class
