1972 MG MGB MGBGT CHROME BUMPER WITH OVERDRIVE MGBGT CHROME BUMPER WITH OVERDRIVE

Regretfully selling my 1972 MGB GT chrome bumper with overdrive. It has 97,729 ks on the clock, unsure of total travelled The previous owner did think that the speedometer had been replaced at sometime. The car sat in a garage for 3 +years and the rego expired. I removed the engine and it was totally rebuilt, new head, new bearings, rings, pistons, gaskets, new radiator and thermostat, new rear wheel bearings and seals, new brakes all round, new clutch & brake master cylinders, electronic ignition installed, new petrol sender unit, engine bay resprayed to match the existing excellent paintwork, 5 new tyres, new steering wheel as photos, new battery.,replaced the rubbers at base of side windows as they were brittle and old and new door cards, headrests and carpets. The chassis was cleaned and undersealed, the inner floor was cleaned, sealed and sound proofed, as was the bonnet I have been all over the car and I haven't come across any rust. The common area of rust is the inner rear front wheel arches where dirt & mud & moisture collects but none were present. The car is in remarkable condition considering it is 56 years old. It is 1800 cc with twin SUs, great fun to drive, smooth, just a pleasure. As the rego had expired I had it re vinned at Masterton VTNZ They are very stringent so another positive about the car. I have 3 other classic cars so I guess I haven't completed more than 2000 ks in her. Last trip was to Taupo without incident. The car will be sold with WOF ( 12 months) and 6 months Rego. Ideally I would like the proposed purchaser to visit me and we will take her for a spin to ensure they are perfectly happy. Definitely NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE. Minor items to do: interior light needs re connecting, old casette radio needs upgrading think that about covers it.
