Originally built in UK imported to Australia. This car was then imported to NZ around 30 years ago, and restored in Nelson. Since buying the car just over 5 years ago. I spent approximately $15,000 bringing the car up to a high standard . The car had some paint bubbling on the bonnet when i brought it, and was recently addressed with a new aluminum bonnet and paint work costing just over $8,000. This car has been used most days, and regularly serviced by MG service centre on Manderville. The exhaust was replaced with a stainless steel exaust, starter motor recently re wound ,new ring gear, new soft top last year, chrome spoked wheels, Becker inspired Retrosound car stereo and handsfree, as well as a new retro sound speaker behind the original speaker grille, (To see the look authentic). Engine runs well, no leaks and runs on unleaded fuel, (No additive required). Shortly after buying the car I purchased a new speedometer in Kilometres, and have the original MPH speedometer , have taken photos of both as reference . Difficult to know the actual KMS and miles since new, as generally these cars been around the clock a few times. No rust, body work in excellent condition. New leather seats ordered at a value of $2800 from UK, and will be fitted soon and included in the price. Will also get MG service centre to address any required work before the sale.
