Description
Selling our 2022 MG ZS EV, it's NZ new and we are the first owner. It has been serviced at the purchasing dealer since new, and still has 3 yrs warranty left to run.
Running an electric vehicle has been great for keeping costs down - we are selling it to buy a new MG with a bigger range as we now need to go a bit further regularly. Range is showing in the dash photo, its a pretty dependable readout, we get the range it says round town, but less on open road at 100km per hour.
We have trickle charged from our normal power socket at home for most of its charges, just the odd trip away was fast charged.
Its in immaculate condition inside and out, and has been garaged for its life.
We just can't fault the MG brand, hence we are buying another one.
As CMG Motors got this one delivered new from the UK, the gauged speedometer has MPH as well as KMPH printed around it . The large digital readout of speed in the centre is in KMPH which is the one you look at anyway. You can see this in the dashboard photo. It has Auto Lights and Auto Wipers as well.
It's been a damn good car for getting around, and we love the panoramic sunroof. And goes without saying, super cheap to run.

Nothing in handbook or screen menus in the car. I asked Google and it reckons I have to take it to a dealer to get that. Seller comment Tuesday, 10 February 2026 SOH Contacted the dealers service centre this morning. CMG motors in Chch. They said they need the car for a full day to do 2 discharges and charges to get a reading that is not completely accurate. Cost is $966.00. In their view it is not necessary, and the guide battery health should is.. Does it charge to 100% and is one getting the full range. One of the photo's of the dash is showing it fully charged with a range of 281km based on our recent driving habits.
