2005 MINI Cooper S

If your after something with character and soul, you can't look past my Facelift 2005 R53 Mini Cooper S. Recently I have started a new job and as such need a bigger car, which unfortunately means selling my R53. Over the last one and a half years It has been my daily driver, and in that time I have thoroughly enjoyed driving and maintaining this awesome little Mini, and I am sure the new owner will too.

The R53 generation Mini Cooper S came with a 1.6 liter Supercharged 4 cylinder, with either an option of an automatic gearbox, or the more desirable 6 Speed Manual which is found in this car. This example is a facelift, meaning it has more power, a stronger supercharger with Teflon coated rotors, and some minor interior and exterior changes.

The car drives beautifully, makes great power, along with the glorious noise from the Supercharger, and Scorpion Cat back Exhaust. The car has a 15% supercharger reduction pulley, MSD Ignition, and a cold air intake fitted by the previous owner. In my ownership I have installed a Scorpion Cat back Exhaust, HEL front braided lines, Cusco Strut Brace, 20mm lowering springs (Still rides really nicely), 3 Spoke steering wheel, Single Mass Flywheel and New Clutch, and Hella Comet 500 Spotlights.

In terms of normal maintenance and servicing no expense has been spared, this is everything in recent memory but I will be forgetting things: Supercharger Service + Water Pump, along with Clutch, Flywheel, Rear Main Seal, PCV Valve, gearbox oil, Coolant, and Slave Cylinder - 170,000ks Oil changes every 5000ks, with Motul oil and Ryco Filter. Brake fluid (Motul RBF600) - 184,000ks Spark Plugs (NGK BKR7s) -182,000ks Oil Filled Engine Mount (FEBI) and Lower Mount (MAHLE) - 180,000ks Both Front Sway Bar End Links and Strut Top Mounts (FEBI) - 182,000ks
