2001 Mitsubishi Diamante Vr-X
Background check
Description
2001 Mitsubishi Diamante VR-X sedan, NZ new. This is a relatively rare VR-X variant and an increasingly uncommon example to find in tidy, original condition.
The car has been owned since 2006 and has been garaged entire time. Powered by the 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine with automatic transmission.
Key details: * NZ new * Owned since 2006 * Garaged * Cambelt has been done * Tow bar fitted * Original owner’s manual included * Currently registered and warranted
The vehicle presents well for its age and is in good working order. Interior is spacious and comfortable, as expected from the Diamante range.
This is a straightforward, honest example of a large Japanese sedan from the early 2000s, suited to someone wanting a comfortable daily driver or a harder-to-find VR-X model.

I've had mine since 2015 and always a fun car to drive. Seen a lot in wrecking yards over the years so they're becoming rare as you say. They were made by Mitsubishi Australia in the old Chrysler Valiant factory at Tonsley Park, Adelaide.
