1998 Mitsubishi RVR Sports Gear 4WD
Background check
Description
1998 Mitsubishi RVR X3 (4G63T) 5 speed manual
Being practically an SUV Evolution it’s an underrated sleeper. The 90s JDM was a creative and wild time and I haven’t seen many around
I bought this vehicle last year on a bit of a whim as I had one when I was younger and thought it would be a good family car and fun daily driver. Unfortunately the rear seats are too narrow for two full size car seats, so sadly it isn’t practical for me.
I’ve really loved driving it and just want to make back the money I’ve spent.
The car is in fantastic condition for its age and drives beautifully. The previous owner had it since 2002 and had stored it in the garage, so the paintwork is in great condition with only a few minor scratches.
Aircon and all electrics all work
In the last few months I gave the car a serious going over with all major servicing done. I will pass on receipts to new owner. I also installed a new Pioneer bluetooth hands free head deck, as the original radio wasn’t working, but the rest of the car is factory.
Work done the last few months:
- 4x New Toyo Proxes tyres and alignment
- Penrite oil and filter
- K&N Air filter
- Fuel filter
- 4x NGK Iridium spark plugs
- New ignition Coils
- Crank and Cam seals
- Cam belt and tensioners
- Water pump
- Accessory belt
- Coolant flush and replacement
- Penrite Manual Transmission Fluid
- Penrite Diff and Transfer case Fluids
- New Endurant battery
I have had the car fully detailed and cut and polished for new owner
There’s no damage history and no money owing on it
Vehicle is located in Milford on the North Shore, Auckland. Please text me if you would like to view.
I can do viewings and test drives any time after work hours or weekends
Cheers, Tony
Questions & Answers
Amazing to see one of these very special Mitsubushi RVR's listed & with such low kms. I have owned one of these X3 RVR models for 12 years & it has been the best vehicle I have ever owned (out of about 50, mainly European). It has done close on 380,000km & is is good condition. Your one is well worth what you are asking & I'm sure you are aware these are sort-after cult vehicles in Japan. Do you hope you find the right owner. ib18 (722 • 8:52 am, Sun, 22 Feb )Thanks mate, I appreciate your comment.
