Questions & Answers
Are the wheels original ? And what year did she come to NZ and from where ? Ta robt. (289 • 11:38 pm, Tue, 30 Dec )Hello Everything in the car is original and it came to NZ 30/04/1987 from Japan. solodolo1 (1 • Tuesday, 30 December 2025 )The wheels may be what was on the car when it came in from Japan but they aren't original. There's quite a few non original parts on that car. dj33 (503 • 2:07 am, Wed, 31 Dec )Hello there Like what ? solodolo1 (1 • Wednesday, 31 December 2025 )From what I can see in your pictures the rear spoiler, speaker in the dash, the radio, missing badges off the back, the coil, the battery wiring, the black paint on the rear and probably the whole paint job, the rear muffler isn't standard and looks to be coming out the wrong side which means the valence has been cut, air filter housing is the wrong colour, I suspect the door mirrors and door cards as well, they look like power window cards dj33 (503 • 2:30 am, Wed, 31 Dec )The original radio is in the back of the car and the missing badges I took them off look better that way and the black paint I added it like custom, also as you can see the car from 1980 with an automatic color like at night it’s grey and in the day it’s off white. That color makes the car one of a kind and just the color took from me $8,000. The lid for the air filter is the right color and the mirrors on the door are in great condition. The car is in very excellent and special condition. solodolo1 (1 • Wednesday, 31 December 2025 )So it's original but been repainted? jobemi (63 • 7:44 pm, Sun, 4 Jan )Yes I wanted a new white look for the car and the paint a I put gives you two different colors and if you want I have old pictures of it there nothing wrong with the color. solodolo1 (1 • Sunday, 4 January 2026 )
