1985 Nissan Laurel

1985 Nissan Laurel C32 5speed Manual, NZ new, L series carb straight 6 engine. 345,000km and still going strong.

Overall excellent condition, has always been loved, serviced and garaged. No rust. Runs well and has had lots of money spent on it over the years, as documented by the large pile of invoices.

First owner owned for 21 years and did the majority of the km up to around 280km. Second owner had for around 12 years and spent loads of money incl the repaint and fitting of recondition R31 Ti Skyline wheels, gear box reconditioning and clutch 30km ago, etc etc.

Has all original interior in mint condition (bar radio which is now a CD player). Has an original dealer sticker in the centre console. All electrics work. No A/C as wasnt specced from new, just fan and heater.

Recent diff inspection come back as ok. New exhaust as old one had rusted out (sounds like a nice 6 now, but not loud). New lowering springs fitted when replacing worn out front ball joints and bump stops/shock gaiters. New tie rod ends and rack ends fitted while front struts were out. (Comes with a second set of lowering springs that are higher if wanted).

Only known issues are minor clunky front passenger shock (didnt fail last WOF) as still functions fine and not leaking, and minor oil leak (very occasional tiny drip) as expected from 41 year old car.

Gets lots of looks and comments about condition.

Big folder of receipts and original Nissan service manual and original brochures. Original key.

Really nice useable old car, cruises motorway speeds fine with a decent amount of power, without being a sports car.

Selling as this is a weekend toy and new baby cant go in due to no top tether for car seat etc, so time to let someone else enjoy it.

Can deliver to Auckland/Tauranga once money is in my account. Car is located in Morrinsville 30 min from Hamilton.
