I have a new car so this is no longer needed. It has always been super reliable but it was time for a change, comes with roof racks and possibly the kayak holders unless I can find a way to take them off, unfortunately I lost the key. The only minor thing at the moment is the interior light stays on as you are driving, it turns off after you lock the car, so it does not effect the battery at all.
