2004 Peugeot 307 Sw
Description
$1 RESERVE We have had this car in our family for the past 9 years with annual WOFs services and the required maintenance. Unfortunately it developed a misfire, we took it in to the mechanics and were told it just needed spark plugs $390. We were called the next day and said that hadn't resolved the issue and will need a coil pack which we were quoted at $1700.
When we went to discuss options the car had been left on and was dead flat, in tern lost trust in the workshop and opted to take the car away once it was charged again.
Since this the key remotes have stopped working and the radio doesn't go. The mechanics stated that the battery monitor system needs to be reset and would do it with the coil pack at no additional charge.....
This this has been a great car nevertheless it's time to get something newer.

But yes that what the mechanics said, how they got to the price of 1700 for it to be replaced is beyond me. I feel they were trying to take advantage of my wife. I would recommend viewing or having it assessed by your own mechanics ramdine (226 • Wednesday, 21 January 2026 )Do you have the third row seats? fynesse (154 • 7:54 pm, Wed, 21 Jan )No unfortunately ramdine (226 • Wednesday, 21 January 2026 )Hi where are you nelson ccccp64 (125 • 10:46 am, Thu, 22 Jan )Tapawera ramdine (226 • Thursday, 22 January 2026 )
