Questions & Answers
Not a question, but statement. These Gbody S's are torquey as hell and have a special analogue feel. If it's as good as described, someone is going to score a bargain. Good luck. 👍 soup1 (115 • 8:03 am, Mon, 1 Sep )Thank you! You're absolutely spot on—the G-body S’s pack that raw, torquey charm and a unique analog vibe that’s hard to beat. They’re as thrilling as a big block V8 but with half the weight, making them a blast to drive. For a 50-year-old car, they were truly ahead of their time, showcasing top-tier motor vehicle craftsmanship. Thanks again! ajm392 (714 • Monday, 1 September 2025 )Hi, are you open to trades? Steve091961 (662 • 6:56 pm, Mon, 22 Sep )Hi, please call or text me with the details. Thank you! ajm392 (714 • Monday, 22 September 2025 )I owned this car from around 1995 - 1998. Always wondered what happened to it. You don’t want to know what I sold it for back then with a fresh engine build from Powerhaus. humphrey-bear (948 • 12:59 pm, Thu, 23 Oct )It's certainly a good survivor. It would have been a steal back then, as the value of air-cooled cars has gone through the roof. It would be great to turn the clock back; we didn't realise how cheap they were. Although it's entry-level for an air-cooled G-series, it's still a considerable sum, but I doubt you'd find one for less ajm392 (714 • Thursday, 23 October 2025 )It certainly gave me well in excess of $85k in memories and enjoyment. Great car and a great price. humphrey-bear (948 • 1:36 pm, Thu, 23 Oct )Yes, it's about having the opportunity to enjoy them. Like all early iconic cars, we're only custodian caretakers, passing them on to the next enthusiast—the fun had and the memories that remain ajm392 (714 • Thursday, 23 October 2025 )
