Description
The 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe. It's NZ new with a clear ownership history and relatively low kilometres, which is rare for a car of this vintage.
This is the 997 generation with the 3.6-litre flat-six engine paired with the 6-speed manual gearbox. The manual makes for an engaging drive that this model is known for.
It's in great condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. Being NZ new means it's been looked after in our climate from day one. The 911 has always been regarded as one of the most driver-focused sports cars available, and this Carrera variant balances performance with everyday usability well.
The 4-seat layout gives you some practicality, though the rear seats are compact - more suited for short trips or extra storage. It's a proper driver's car that doesn't compromise on build quality or that distinctive flat-six sound. Furthermore, the model includes a working retractable sunroof for those leisurely evening drives!

Questions & Answers
Hi, lovely thing. How long have you owned it? warwick.mayson (136 • 12:21 pm, Tue, 10 Feb )Hi thank you, would be close to 15 years now :) ryan3610 (2 • Tuesday, 10 February 2026 )Hello. Why is this car priced at about $50,000 more than other 997.1s? petermcrae1 (40 • 9:34 am, Fri, 13 Feb )Hi, there’s more than 40,000km difference between the next cars down, which is significant on a 911 of this age. The lower km examples are much harder to find and will hold their value significantly better long term. We’ve also owned the car for almost 15 years, it has a full service history, and the IMS and clutch have both been done. ryan3610 (2 • Friday, 13 February 2026 )
