Other Details
Fresh WOF & Rego Service Update - Carrera Sport Pirongia - At approx. 88,000 km the transmission was removed to inspect/replace the IMS bearing. During that job it was confirmed the engine had already been upgraded to the later factory IMS bearing assembly (the stronger factory-updated type). This is a major positive, as it eliminates one of the biggest concerns with early M96 engines.

Questions & Answers
Why are you selling? And how do you know that the two previous owners were careful? 2b0t2 (72 • 2:20 pm, Sun, 23 Nov )I’m selling because we’ve just bought a house and now have other priorities. I’ve already sold my 2005 Boxster S, and this is the last one to go. Ownership history (verified NZ records): 2006–2011: First NZ owner (Khord Holdings Ltd) 2011–2024: Second private owner (owned it for 13 years) 2024–Now: Us (current owners) The car had 119,828 km on it when we purchased it. I’ve recently uncovered more service information that wasn’t supplied at the time of purchase: jamesjulz (1169 • Sunday, 23 November 2025 )Service Update - Carrera Sport Pirongia - At approx. Even without the full service book, the vehicle’s condition reflects long-term careful ownership.
