Seller comment Monday, 1 June 2026 hi dos it have a cambelt and if so has it been changed thank you robertmcleod (104 • 4:04 pm, Mon, 1 Jun )Yes it does, has been changed and new water pump fitted Think I also have a spare water pump and a few other spares. May need replacing again in the foreseeable future . lindaj1 (71 • Monday, 1 June 2026 )why would waterpump need doing again thanks robertmcleod (104 • 12:55 am, Tue, 2 Jun )I got the water pump from a Renault supplier in England, when it arrived the local garage said it was the wrong one so ordered another one. When it arrived it was exactly the same as the first one as the local garage was wrong when they said it was the wrong one. So ended up with two water pumps of which of course only one was fitted. lindaj1 (71 • Tuesday, 2 June 2026 )thank you robertmcleod (104 • 9:33 am, Tue, 2 Jun )No problem. lindaj1 (71 • Tuesday, 2 June 2026 )What are parts prices like ive heard they can be expensive thanks jamesb1960 (69 • 11:18 am, Thu, 4 Jun )I am sure that if dealing through a dealer parts for all cars can be expensive and was surprised at how much friends were charged for Toyota an Isuzu etc parts. I have sourced all my parts from a firm in England called Eurocarcare that deal in Renault parts and have found the prices very reasonable and definitely cheaper than NZ .Also the internet can often be a good source of parts at a variety of reasonable prices. This applies to all makes. lindaj1 (71 • Thursday, 4 June 2026 )
