1972 Rover 3500 P6B
Background check
Description
Due to my age (81) and declining health I am cutting down on my collection of classic Rovers. This car runs, changes gears, runs and handles very well and is a pleasure to drive. It is in tidy everyday condition with no rust but could benefit with some minor paint retouching ( see photo 5) for showing it off in best light.
Yet to do is to attend to front seat leather squabs which have been repaired so as to not deteriorate further but visually disappointing - see last photo (I intended to install sheepskin seat covers ), and minor cracking on dash top (common issue). Also needs minor adjustment of gear lever to ease starting in neutral and park (sometimes needs waggling - not a major).
Carpets probably better than average for age/mileage and furflex around doors has been replaced at some recent stage so very tidy there . Tyres and battery are near new.
I have only had this car for just over two years (bought it because it was fundamentally very sound and before recent health issues set in).
Assumed odometer reading shown above is in miles.
A lovely drivable classic.
