Description
Rover SD1Vitesse, V8 3528cc automatic transmission.
Speedo is in miles:171220
The engine has been completely dismantled, a new high torque cam installed, new bearing the list goes on.
New timing chain, all new gaskets, new transmission-cooler, water pump replaced.
New Edelbrock 4-barrel carburettor setup with a performer inlet manifold.
Ceramic coated headers.
Custom made alloy radiator, thermostat, sensor and temperature gauge all replaced standard and electric axillary fans.
Automatic transmission, checked, serviced, new speedo cable, O rings etc replaced.
New high tensile spark plug leads, new coil, new disturber cap, new rotor
New fuel pump along with new wiring from firewall.
New starting motor solenoid.
New quality shocks all round, front springs and new sway bar bushings.
New rear brake cylinders and shoes
Near new tyres.
Custom upholstery, matching the original door cards style and colour.
Engine bay re-painted well engine was out and being reconditioned
Louvers cut into the bonnet and bonnet repainted.
Series 1, clear front indicator lenses.

SD1 Vitesse V8 was offered with the automatic transmission for one year only year, 1984 and they only built 364 now they’re highly sort after due to their rarity.

Aircon and fuel injection removed:
Re-Imported: Three/four Nz owners, 1st Nz owner 26 years and cherished it, the info goes he had his brother purchase this vehicle while in the Uk with very low miles, first registered in Nz 1988, 2nd owner for 9 years, spent the dollars on several of the upgrades, I purchased it in July 2022, I have added to the upgrades to how you see it today, as a turn key and a drive vehicle. The Vitesse has been kept garaged in my ownership and by the previous owners.
