1975 Rover 3500
Background check
Description
Ultimate unicorn of a barn find. Dry stored, 1975 Rover 3500 V8 (the car originally designed to take a gas turbine engine) Live plates, registered to the same little old lady since 1993. The Kms are a wild guess based on the dash and may be in miles, I expect it has done a lap. Taken off the road in 1999 and repowered with a 3.9 fuel injected V8 from a 1990 Range Rover.... And never finished.
Complete (as far as I'm aware) with a few spares but showing a few scuffs from a quarter of a century sitting in a tinkerers garage. Leather seats with no tears and one very old tape deck. An electric fuel pump has been installed to suit the EFI engine To finish it will need the engine loom installed, headers fabricated, fuel lines and cooling systems hooked up. Plus a few of those unexpected things that come from being parked up so long. Comes with a heap of paperwork including handwritten service records and the ownership transfer papers. Selling on behalf of the little old lady who has patiently waited over 25 years for her husband to complete it.
