Description
Letting go of our 2005 Rover 75 T V6 Conn Se, a sedan that's been a solid and comfortable car to own. It's NZ new and has had a few owners over the years, but it's in good working order and still drives well.
This model features the 2.5-litre V6 engine paired with an auto, which provides a refined drive. It's a 5 seater with a practical layout and a comfortable interior that makes longer trips easy.
The car is in good mechanical condition and has been well-maintained throughout its life. Runs well, reliably and hasn't given us any major issues.
Key features:
- 2.5-litre V6 petrol engine
- Auto gearbox
- Comfortable 5-seat layout
- NZ new vehicle
Faults to Note
- Back door/boot opener playing up but still works
- only one drivers key available
- dash computer screen starting to show lines on screen but still displays information
- may require Cam belt change ,thermostat and water pump , as use of car has been limited, this would be at buyers discretion
If you're after a comfortable sedan with a good engine, this could be worth a look.
Questions & Answers
Cam belts replaced? keltie (303 • 4:43 pm, Thu, 30 Apr )No would need to be done at buyers expense if required pcowt (44 • Thursday, 30 April 2026 )Cambelt, pulley tensioners, water pump replaced? lloyd78 (142 • 5:32 pm, Thu, 30 Apr )No these items would need to be done if required pcowt (44 • Thursday, 30 April 2026 )Very expensive job, more than one cambelt plus accessories. pooida (161 • 11:11 pm, Thu, 30 Apr )Thanks Peter , and your Question is? pcowt (44 • Thursday, 30 April 2026 )It would be unusual for a 20 year old 75 not to have at least one cam belt replacement. The factory recommendation is to replace cam belt every 7 years. Unfortunately it is an expensive exercise. keltie (303 • 5:42 pm, Fri, 1 May )Hi John this car was bought off Armstrong motors in Christchurch by my mother who has now passed , she bought the car and used the car from approx 25,000 kms to 30,000kms , from then she couldn’t drive the car due to her cancer , so the car was garaged and has been run over this time to keep it moving so it is not sitting garaged , I am well aware of the Cam belt terms and conditions, to be fair I’m getting very sick of the keyboard warriors with there comments. pcowt (44 • Friday, 1 May 2026 )I love these cars, very underrated. A future classic in my opinion. I have exactly the same model, only difference mine has done 160,000 kms. I also have a 1999 Connoisseur which has done close to 300,000 kms. All the best for the sale. keltie (303 • 9:49 pm, Fri, 1 May )
