1996 Rover MGF Mgf
Background check
Description
Looking for a convertible? The 1996 Rover MGF is a fun two-seater sports car that's ideal for those summer drives. This NZ new example has the peppy 1.8-litre engine paired with a manual gearbox, making it engaging to drive on winding roads.
The MGF is known for its mid-engine layout for good handling and it's surprisingly easy to drive. It's also quite fuel efficient for a sports car, so you can enjoy the open-top experience without spending too much at the pump.
This particular example is in excellent condition despite having multiple owners. I've owned it for 3 years but not getting used much.
Much work done:
- Rear shock bushes at 60k
- Service at 56k
- Clutch slave cylinder at 48k
- Stainless steel coolant pipes at 48k
- Head machines and gasket replaced at 45k
All receipts available.
Professional car cover included if you have no garage.
Very low mileage but gel coat on bonnet and boot has lifted so a repaint of these would make it superb on outside. Inside is 30 years old and could do with some loving.
If you're after a classic British sports car that's both fun to drive (fast enough) and practical, this MGF could be just what you're looking for.
Will accept a reasonable offer as it gets used 600km between WOFs.
