1997 Rover MGF

Letting go of my 1997 Rover MGF, a classic British mid-engine convertible. This 1.8-litre petrol roadster brings the genuine sports-car feel that made these cars special.

The car is in good working order, has been reliable, and has recently had routine maintenance completed. The top head motor has been reconditioned, with receipts available for peace of mind. Being imported to New Zealand, it's now ready for its next owner to enjoy. With its unique mid-engine layout, the MGF offers balanced handling and a fun, engaging driving experience. The convertible roof works well, and the canvas has been replaced, so it’s ideal for sunny weekend drives along coastal roads.

Inside, the car features the factory 4-speaker audio system and a tidy interior for its age. To be transparent, there are a couple of minor quirks: reverse can sometimes crunch slightly, and there’s a small dent on the front. Neither of these affects the way the car drives or performs.
