1998 Rover MG F
Background check
Description
Parting ways with my 1998 Rover MGF, which is a proper British roadster with character. This is a 2-seater convertible that's imported and ready for someone who appreciates a fun driving experience. It is the special Abingdon Limited Edition . It is Brooklands Green exterior with beige leather interior and walnut wood trim
It has the 1.8-litre petrol engine paired with a manual gearbox, which makes for an engaging drive. Being a mid-engined sports car, the handling is sharp and responsive, yet it remains easy to drive around town. The compact dimensions make it nimble in traffic and simple to park.
It's a straightforward, honest car that delivers that classic open-top experience. The manual roof is quick to operate when the weather's good. With its age, it's got the miles you'd expect, but it's been looked after and runs well.
If you're after something a bit different from the usual modern offerings - a proper roadster with that characteristic British sports car feel - this could be a good fit. Car has a hard top with it as well. Previous owner had over 7k work done on it at paul walbran motors a few years ago and done hardly any ks since. Also has a new clutch slave cylinder Has a push button start system installed. Suspension has it so they are independent Comes with a pump and fluid for topping up suspension. Have receipts for almost everything on the car since it came here by the looks of it Also has a box of spares with it.
Feel free to get in touch if you've got any questions or want to come have a look.
