For sale 1975 Rover 2200TC with factory 14" wire wheels

We are regretfully selling our Rover 2200 that has been in the family for 20 years. It has recorded a genuine 76,000 kms, 3 owners from new with the rego currently on hold. It will need some recommissioning work, fluids and new tyres etc. Colour is lunar grey with brown door cards and fabric interior. Front ET headrests. Body very tidy with no rust. The boot needs painting due to paint lifting off the aluminium. Touring kit included. The whole car needs a polish. It is currently not running. Very few and New Zealand and rarely available.

Engine turns over fine and doesn't start due to sitting for a while. I will replace the spark plugs and try starting it again. Touring kit is the spare wheel mount on the boot lid. rover5000 (28) • Friday, 23 January 2026

We had a series 2 2000tc. Wire wheels were an optional extra. When we bought the car in the UK we were tempted to have wire wheels but couldn’t afford the extra 52 pounds! keltie (303) • 7:25 pm, Sun, 25 Jan
