Description

Selling 2x Saabs. the main Saab is the Blue, 1998, Saab 900 S Convertible, manual transmission. The other Saab is a 2000, Saab 9-3 S, which has been used for parts (See below).

The Saab 900 S has been my daily driver for numerous years now. It is a beautiful car with a ton of character. It sounds beautiful to drive, especially paired with the 5-speed manual gear box. The electric roof works great, and has always turned heads.

Unfortunately, there are 2x main issues with the Saab that need fixing, which is what the green Saab is for.

  • The original drivers door lock has stopped working, and the window glass had been broken. Due to this, I have replaced the original door with the Saab 9-3 S door (which you can see in the photos is green).
  • Recently the starter motor has stopped working. My intention was to swap out the starter motor from the 9-3 S and place it in the 900 S. Once started the car drives perfectly, although due to the starter not going it'll likely need to be towed upon purchase.

The Saab 9-3 S is also in working order, although the steering column needs some care. I was told by the previous owner the only issue is a leak in the steering column, although because I bought this mainly just for parts I didn't investigate too much into fixing this. I know this would be a relatively easy fix, and the parts are out there, so for the right owner this could be a great project and could result in having these 2x beauties back on the road. This Saab does start and run, although with the steering column issue it is probably best to tow.

This is a very reluctant sale as I truly cherish this car, although due to changing circumstances I no longer have the time to get these both back on the road.

Thanks for looking, happy to answer any questions

Disclaimer: To clarify, I am selling both Saabs together. I am happy to discuss selling these seperate, if you are interested please get in touch.
