1992 Saab 900S For Sale (Previously advertised as a recommission project)

Up for grabs is my beautiful 1992 Lemans Blue Saab 900S. 258162km. Imported from Hong Kong, it had an engine swap, a 5 speed conversion and an OEM intercooler fitted by a Saab guy in Auckland. It was a daily driver until driven into storage in a dry garage in 2018 and put on jack stands as we went overseas to work. It has been there ever since. (Was started occasionally during that time)

Update: The car has been thoroughly recommissioned and is being regularly driven. The following work has been completed; (Receipts available for all recommissioning work) Oil drained and refilled + new filter fitted New high quality battery fitted. Cooling system drained, flushed and filled with new coolant Fuel tank drained, checked and refilled ABS system completely refurbished including a new accumulator and pump rebuild. Brake lines evacuated and flushed + front and rear calipers cleaned and refitted. Rear bumper and side trims repaired and repainted - they look amazing. New water pump fitted Full service check done A new WOF issued. Car now has 3 months rego.

Features 5 Speed manual. It is rust free and the paint is in very good condition, no clear coat fading. The Dover Grey leather is in great condition. The dash is also excellent. It has the rarer than rare OEM Saab branded oil temp, oil pressure and voltage auxiliary gauges fitted. All electrics seem to go.

Concerns Telescopic radio aerial doesn’t telescope. Rear hatch shocks a little tired. AC doesn’t go. Central Locking is spasmodic.

Two options to purchase. (see list of extra spares in photo.) $17,950 will get you the car without the extras or vanity plate, but with the gauges. $21,950 will get you everything
