2007 Saab 93 Vector Convertible
Description
It's time to sell our weekend fun 93,mainly selling due getting divorced, we know it needs some work to get the roof operating automatically (up to about 4 months ago it did work, but the hydraulics are stuffed). We both don't want to spend any on it,so it's now up to someone else to get sorted.
Besides having to operate the roof manually, which doesn't take too long to put up or down,it has been pretty reliable, the odd dashboard light comes up then disappears, it's close to 20 years old,it has never let us down in the 3 years that we have owned it.
This has been our 3rd Saab over the years, theres just something about them, that keeps me wanting them
It has a new WOF,tyres have done less than 5000km,it's been serviced, interior bar the drivers seat which will need to be recovered is tidy. Everything is working as it should bar the roof, the roof canvas has no rips or holes.
If you want a cool looking high spec Vector model with the 154kw engine and you know how to get the roof working and give her a bit of a tidy up, it will be a great buy for someone, these seem to be going up in value nowadays.
It will be sad to see her go but it is what it is, for viewings give me plenty of notice so I can get it from the family home,it is parked in the garage, always has been in our ownership. I have taken the boot trim out so people can check out the hydraulic unit in the boot.

Have you had prices or quotes. Also lights on dash could be WOF fail so perhaps info on what lights exactly. I love Saabs used to have a viggen. steveo35 (239 • 9:48 am, Sat, 24 Jan )Yes seat will need to be recovered, haven't got prices to fix the roof as like you, I know it's not a cheap fix, it just passed a wof last week ,sometimes it says gearbox malfunction then a few seconds later it disappears, been like that since we bought it ,in saying that the gearbox has never missed a beat, cheers bevis71 (43 • Saturday, 24 January 2026 )From where/whome did you purchase the car and when.
