2006 Saab 93 Linear Convert
Background check
Description
A sad sale of a rare, classic convertible sports car. It really is a true 'barn find' - it sat for 10 years under a tarpaulin hence the super low kms and great condition. It still has all the original key fobs, manuals, and the receipts.
We bought it as a gift about 2 years ago and as a precaution gave it a good overhaul, including a new petrol pump, regulator, disc rotors and pads, coil packs, spark plugs and of course a comprehensive service.
Since it has proven to be a reliable and fun vehicle to drive - especially with the roof off!
The roof is in fabulous nick - no strange grinding noises with the mechanism and the fabric itself is in excellent condition.
This 2006 Saab 93 convertible is a stylish and practical convertible that's been well-maintained. New Zealand new vehicle, this 2.0-litre petrol convertible gives you both open-top enjoyment and everyday practicality.
The car is in great shape and has relatively low kilometres on the clock - as it spent most of it's life in a barn. It's surprisingly roomy for a convertible, with comfortable seating for five, making it suitable as a family car.
Another surprise is that it's remarkable fuel efficient.
Features:
- 2.0-litre petrol engine
- Auto
- Convertible roof
- Roomy interior with seating for five
- Fuel efficient
- NZ new vehicle
If you're looking for a versatile convertible with Swedish engineering and safety, this Saab could be just what you need.

There are no 'worn bush' type sounds when you drive the car. WOF checks for any play, and none has been found. biggles142 (60 • Sunday, 3 May 2026 )
