Description
- Booked in for fresh wof
Extremely reluctant sale of my pride and joy. I’ve owned for 6 years and have loved every minute of ownership, I purchased to practice working on it and it’s been great for this, so easy to work on - tonnes of room in engine bay. Comes with hundreds worth of spares.
Work done in last 1000k
- Full swivel hub rebuild
- Oil change
- All Drivetrain fluids changed
- Front suspension bushes replaced
- Gear shift lever bush replaced
- Rust in sills (common) cut out and new steel welded in
- Brand new battery
Extras I’ve added
- Toyota 3k carburator
- 30” ATs
- Heavy duty rhino rack roof racks and tray
- Breathers on both diffs and transfer case
- UHF radio and old style aerial (doubles as a perfect height guide with roof racks on)
- 16cm crossover speakers & BT head unit
- Central locking
- Narva spotlights
- Towbar
- Bullbar with reinforced fixings to chassis
- 4.5T rated front recovery hook
- Centre console & cup holder
Never been bashed off road but have done lots of camping trips and it is seriously capable - before I purchased it was bone stock on road tyres so has definitely not spent its life off road. This is still technically stock apart from a Toyota 3k carburetor, a common mod on these and has transformed its performance. Often read listings for these that recommend not sitting at more than 85-90kph on the highway, this will cruise happily at 100-110kph (if flat and no head wind). Everything else I’ve added is easily removable and not major mods.
Have quite often had a trailer on the back of this and it tows really well for its size, also had a roof tent on for a while and had no issues.
Have all service paperwork from 2015 onward, always been well looked after. In the past two years it has on and off stored in garaged storage whilst I’ve been travelling, but taken out for runs monthly, daily driven again for last 3 months.
Turns heads around town and anyone who’s ever owned one always comments how capable and brilliant these are.
