This 2008 Toyota Blade is a great mix of sporty performance and everyday practicality. Imported and well cared for, it’s powered by the punchy 2.4L petrol engine with automatic transmission, making it quick and enjoyable to drive while still perfect for daily use.

The interior is tidy, some marks on the interior seating and the exterior reflects how well the car has been looked after. As Toyota’s higher-spec hatchback, the Blade offers noticeably more power than a standard Corolla, without sacrificing comfort or reliability.

Sad to see it go as it’s been a pleasure to drive, but I’m needing to move to something more suitable due to ongoing back issues.

A really solid, fun-to-drive hatch that’s also sensible and practical.
