1997 Toyota Celica Gt Four
Background check
Description
For those who know the Celicas legacy, the GT-Four needs no introduction. For those who don’t, it’s a 2.0L Turbo, all wheel drive, World Rally Championship legend. It’s bred for the gravel, yet still dominates everything on the tarmac. When Toyota designed the 6th generation of Celica they had one goal; build the greatest rally car in the world. ——

—— The Celicas turbocharged 3SGTE engine sends its 255hp through a 5 speed manual gearbox to its AWD drivetrain, and with its Bridgestone Potenza tires, 17” OZ Alloys, and Superstrut suspension, it’s more than capable of putting that power down. Inside is immaculate, she features a pair of ultra rare, 30th anniversary edition Recaro SR3 Confetti seats, a genuine TRD shift knob, and a Kenwood stereo equipped with a reversing camera. She also features a few modern features, including an AVS Immobiliser, power sunroof, airbags, and ABS brakes. On the outside it’s everything you would expect from a rally legend. Finished in the iconic white the Celica is known in, with a high rise WRC spoiler in the rear, a huge hood scoop on the front to cool the charged air, and GT-Four front bumper, makes this model unmistakeable from a standard Celica. There are a few minor stone chips & imperfections around her, though the exterior is in good condition given its age. Overall she is a very tidy example, worthy of collectors and enthusiasts alike.
I have owned this car for close to 5 years, and have enjoyed every moment of it. It has been meticulously maintained during that time, and will be sold fully serviced, LVV Certified, and with WOF and a current Rego. Located in Somerfield, Christchurch.
