2010 Toyota IQ

Toyota IQ 2010 - a smart little hatchback that's been a dependable city runabout. I'm the second New Zealand owner of this imported auto, and it's been a solid, no-fuss car.

The 1.3-litre petrol engine is fuel efficient and works well with the auto, making it easy to drive around town. Being compact, it's great for parking and navigating tight spaces, but there's more room inside than you'd expect for a car of this size.

It's covered a fair bit of ground but remains in good working order and has been reliable throughout my ownership. The IQ has a reputation for being tough and practical, and this one lives up to that.

Interior is a little scruffy, could do with some seat covers and a steering wheel cover, missing drivers floor mat too.

If you're after something straightforward and economical for daily commuting, this could be a good fit.
