1999 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado T Vx W5

Letting go of my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado T Vx W5. This 3.0L diesel 8-seater has been a reliable workhorse over the years. It's a NZ new vehicle with the sturdy manual gearbox which is pretty unique for a Prado.

The Prado comes fitted with roof racks and a roof tent which add is perfect for a weekend away in the bush, wet gear in the back and sleep on the roof. She also has a tow bar for hauling trailers or boats. The 4WD system makes it capable on rough terrain and country roads.

It's still in good working order despite the kilometres, although there are a few bits and pieces which are not quite perfect, showing how durable these vehicles really are. The diesel engine is economical for its size and has plenty of torque for towing.

It has had an engine recondition about 70,000km ago, so she runs real nice, sadly I don’t have receipts for that work.
