1990 Toyota MR2

See photo. Automatic. No finance on car - fully owned. Very low kms for age. Original alloy wheels with car. Location Christchurch. Moving to Australia. Second NZ owner. Always garaged since in NZ. A beautiful example of a JDM classic. I have owned it for just over 4 years and have put around 3000 kms on it mainly as a Sunday driver. I brought it off an older lady who was the first NZ owner (making me the second). Always run on 95/98. I would keep it but I’m moving to Australia. Reasonable offers would be accepted but definitely in the ballpark of asking price please. It is an automatic.

Pros -Just over 150000kms (one of the lowest in NZ) -Resent service. All fluids are good and Upto date (engine, trans, power steering) -aftermarket 17 inch mags tyres still have spikes on them -aftermarket steeringwheel -aftermarket apple carplay head unit and subwoofer behind passenger seat -original steering wheel, rims and head unit included if wanted to restore to original. -foglights -washable performance air filter -mongoose immobiliser and alarm. Includes central locking.

Cons -There are a couple of cosmetic imperfections. The vents are damaged as seen in photos, I have the replacement parts just never bothered to replace them. -the window switches do not work. I have investigated and I’m pretty certain it is the wiring inside the door loom. Recommend getting this done at a mechanic unless you’re confident in doing this yourself. -tachometer reading wrong, sometimes works as it should. Is likely the capacitors behind the cluster are burnt out.

Cool car. Buyer will be someone who sees the potential and is prepared to spend time and money on it.
