Description
1976 Triumph Stag, reknowned as the best v8 soundtrack, where we know most of its history, 100% reliable in the years we have had it and original with mods done to make this the runner it should have been when Triumph first manufactured it, like the header tank, head gasket and cooling system. Selling cos not using it enough and now have a use for the investment we have made in it. Good points- reliable, engine recon not many kilometres ago, trans fine and post recon too, hard top and soft top in reasonable condition. The not so good point is the paint work. When repainted 20 years ago, not prepped to today’s standard so bubbling present when looked at closely. For us, has been enjoyable, never missed a beat (except once when we limped into a fuel station out of gas). If you want a reasonable priced v8 driver, British classic, fraction of the price of an American v8, we do urge you to consider and look at this original Aztec Yellow (only available in 1976 and frankly for good reason) hardtop/softtop/targa top Stag.
