1968 Triumph Other VITESSE 2 Litre
Background check
Description
Note distance traveled is in Miles 1968 Triumph Vitesse 2litre (six cylinder) With only a limited number imported for assembly in New Zealand it is a relatively rare car. It was first sold and registered in Thames where it spent 24 years with one family. It is in top condition, current WOF (Dec 2026) & REGO (Sep 2026). It has the original engine, the colour indicating a major overhaul in the past, possibly a Motor Specs Gold Seal rebuild. In 2011, I had it professionally stripped to bare metal and repainted in the original colour ( with the stripe added) to a high standard, The paint work is still like new other than the small scratch shown in the photo. It has also been professionally re upholstered, has near new Michelin tyres, rust free and mechanically very sound, well maintained, and drives well. It always attracts attention. Having owned this great car for over 15 years, we also have other interests and it has become very underused so it is time for it to go to where it will be appreciated.
