1968 Triumph Other Vitesse 2L Estate
Description
Yes yes I know they didn't make a Vitesse Estate apart from a handful but plenty have made them since. This is the second one Ive built but sadly due to having too many other projects I don't see me getting it finished. Built using a 13/60 wagon that was in very good condition and a genuine 2L Vitesse that had sadly fallen on hard times. Dead rego but have plates and it still comes up on Carjam. Hard work is all done as the car and all its parts have been paneled and painted. Boxes full of new and recond parts but still some work to do. Comes with the original 2L engine but was going to fit a 2500 engine. A proper 3 rail gearbox with a J type OD and a Mk4 Spit differential (same as a 2L Vitesse) Will also come with a swing spring conversion which transforms the handling of these early cars. Has a Webasto type folding sunroof fitted. Original black upholstery in excellent condition with Microcell bucket seats from a Bond. Also has the console and armrest from a Bond. Panel and paint work on your average Vitesse would cost more than the start price let alone all the parts that go with it. My loss your gain.
NOTE: I imagine the logistics of moving the car and parts is putting people off from buying this project. If the BUY NOW is used I will deliver the car and parts to anywhere along state HWY 1 from Auckland to Invercargill at a time to be agreed
