1970 mk 3 spitfire Has been on the market before but decided to bring it up to the Waikato for the summer and have been driving daily with no issues at all. No rust and fresh repaint just previous to my ownership. Has reconditioned mk 4 gearbox fitted (synchro on all Inc first gear) can possibly come with original mk 3 gearbox as well. Has hard top, new soft top and tonnau cover. Have added remote central locking and Bluetooth stereo. Great fun to drive and gets plenty of attention. Economical reliable classic convertible that is practical for winter too with the hard top. Assume 5 digit odometer has been around once already. Been driving it daily so milage will continue to rise. A proper practical classic car you can jump in and drive to the countryside for a coffee, across to the beach and also into town to do the shopping or commute to work. Has never let me down, doesn’t use any oil or water. Comes with various spares. Not bothered if it doesn’t sell as is loads of fun.
