Description
Triumph gt6. Reluctant sale as this was my dream car but since buying it I have used it about 3 times and with 2 small kids it's just not practical.
This car has had thousands spent on it and got a brand new warrant today.
Full body off restoration and respray as well as under body protection. Triumph 2.5pi engine (150hp) that was fully rebuilt around 5000km ago. Block, crank, bearings, pistons and rings reconditioned. Stripped head and valve grind and new gaskets. Toyota Celica 5 speed short throw gearbox. Subaru Impreza rear suspension and diff. Toyota brakes All work certified and the garage that did WOF today commented on how well the work had been done.
These updates fix a lot of the weaknesses with the original GT6 and makes it a reliable classic. I drove from Wellington to Dunedin last year without issue.
Mechanically and cosmetically excellent. Gets so many comments when you are out and about. The interior needs a carpet and head liner to complete or add your own touch. Please be mindful this is still a 50+ year old car so is very different to a modern car!
Such a beautiful car. Much like an Aston martin DB5, Jaguar E type or Porsche 911 with the classic coupe shape.
Open to swaps for something interesting that I could also fit my kids in. Jaguar XK, Land Rover defender,
