1963 Triumph Other Sports

This is no ordinary TR4 ! This car is a works tribute TR4 fully restored in the Triumph works style rally cars of the early 60's, competing in the likes of the Monte Carlo and RAC rallies. A multi award winning car and immaculate. Full nut and bolt restoration over 10 years and back on the road in early 2024. Full history (pics) of the restoration process available. We believe this is only one of about 50 Triumph TR4 works rally tribute cars in the world. Lots of enhancements to make this car more reliable, efficient and easy to drive including; mild race cam, new twin 45 DCOE webers ( just like the rally cars), electronic ignition, upgraded cooling, upgraded brakes, upgraded charging and starting, upgraded dash & swheel ( wooden from TR4a), upgraded suspension, new wheels & tyres, MX5 cloth high back seats... This car has plenty of get up and go producing about 125 BHP at the wheels (very torquey) with overdrive on 2,3 & 4th ! Note, the car was built with fast road use in mind - not to rally.
