1980 Triumph Other TR7

My 1980 Canley built TR7 drop head coupe is for sale. This is one of the later models so has the additional benefit of being fitted with legendary LT77 5 speed gearbox. The car is also NZ new so has never seen a salty UK road and the speedo is in Kph.

Being 46 years old, the car is obviously not perfect but is generally in excellent condition, a real head turner that gets lots of compliments. It has never missed a beat whilst I have owned it, just get in and go. I bought it as a touring car and as such have done many long distance trips. It is very comfortable and the boot is deceptively big so can take a lot of bags.

I brought the car up to a high standard when I bought it and have maintained the car meticulously during my ownership. It was already in good condition when I purchased it. There is nothing that needs doing, everything works as it should, just get in the car, drive away and enjoy the summer!!

There is an extensive service history available for the car which I can talk any interested buyers through. I also have quite a few spares that will be included in the sale, mostly maintenance items but also a couple of other bigger ticket items. Again, I can talk any prospective buyer through the list as it is too long to type out here.

Inspections welcomed and I am happy to take serious buyers out in the car but times will be weather dependent. The car is in storage so I will need to collect it and bring it home and I won't be driving it in the rain.

The milage stated is not the actual milage as it will definitely have been round the clock. The milage may go up a bit as I still drive it when I get the chance.
