1978 TRIUMPH TR7 V8 REG and WOF

Something a bit different, an ongoing project that's ground to a halt due to health issues.

Car is in 'barnfind' condition, and I had the stickers/decals made in a faded condition to suit the condition of the car. A bit of a tribute to factory driver Tony Pond, who managed some great results in world rallying against the mega-stars Ford, Audi, Lancia, Porsche and Fiat in a hopelessly under funded team.

Paint is pretty bad [see photos], but I personally like the patina, dragged out of a bush look.

Rover 3500 alloy V8 with Holley 350cfm carb, fitted early '90's.[Has MOT declaration certificate]. Five speed gearbox. Nice torque and quite cruisey, relaxed diff ratio. Nice throaty exhaust note. Drives nice.

Very few kms since new mags and tyres, new front discs, pads and flexible hoses. All fluids changed recently including gearbox and diff.
