This 1972 Triumph TR6 is a classic British sports car that's been well maintained. It has the 2.5-litre straight-six engine paired with a manual gearbox, which gives it the character these cars are known for. Being a two-seater with a convertible roof, it's designed for open-air driving.

The TR6 has a strong following among enthusiasts for its combination of performance and classic styling. This particular example is in excellent condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. It's an imported car, so it has history beyond New Zealand, but it's been well cared for.

This car had just about a total rebuild in New Zealand, from 2013 to 2015, including an electric radiator fan. Since in my ownership, it has been exhibited at many car shows, including best TR in show, Triumph display, at Brit and Euro Show Auckland 2024 . Concours d'Elegance entrant, TR Register display, Brit and Euro Show, Auckland 2025.
