Questions & Answers
Hi there.. what sort of mileage has the engine done. ?Has the engine had any work done to it ? ? Cheers. Dave. xu1sally (115 • 7:03 pm, Tue, 20 Jan )Hi Dave, the simple answer is I don't know. But in saying that, Knowing Alex who built it. The donor engine, I would say it would have had a strip down before being put in and only needing a custom tune through the bespoke ECU as an engine this size in a small road car like this is plentiful. Seeing your profile picture I'm sure you would agree, as it would be much lighter and better weight to power than a 2.3 engine at any performance tune. Let's just say, any faster it would be dangerous. bilby01 (376 • Tuesday, 20 January 2026 )Sounds like a sweet set up. Is the ECU standard Mazda or is it an aftermarket tuneable unit. ? Cheers. xu1sally (115 • 9:08 am, Wed, 21 Jan )Custom tuneable megasqirt ecu bilby01 (376 • Wednesday, 21 January 2026 )Thanks 👍 xu1sally (115 • 11:58 am, Wed, 21 Jan )Okay bilby01 (376 • Wednesday, 21 January 2026 )
