1970 Vauxhall Other Victor 3.3L MANUAL
Video

Background check
Description
Reluctantly offered for sale is this survivor example of a Vauxhall Victor, and it’s the real deal… A 3.3L, 4 speed manual!
The car is in an honest cosmetic condition, proudly wearing its 56 years of patina. Sporting its original black plates, this truly is a rare, un-restored example.
From my inspection, the car appears to be rust-free, having been religiously stored indoors and spending the last 15 years in the dry Otago climate.
It has a current WOF until: 30/09/26.
Registration until: 24/10/26
Work under the current owner includes:
- New radiator core
- Driveshaft sent to a specialist (as part of a WOF)
- Full set of Maxxis tyres (including the spare)
- New shock absorbers front and rear
- And more
Exact mileage is unknown, but it seems to have gone around the clock at least once.
It drives nicely for its age. This listing is on behalf of my neighbor who unfortunately is no longer able to drive. This car has been his pride and joy since 2011 and is only for sale due to his current circumstances.
The vehicle is located in the Queenstown-lakes area.
A set of factory hubcaps are also included in the sale. It has also recently had an oil and filter change.
Please contact me directly if you have questions so that I can ask the owner.
Questions & Answers
Hi, you've put contact me directly with questions, I can't locate ph no on advert. Is the first bid from some one familiar with vehicle? roger265 (45 • 8:17 am, Sun, 15 Feb )Hi, my apologies, Trademe had removed my number for some reason. I've re-added it to the listing. I am overseas for the next week so please leave me a text and I'll get back to you ASAP. That bid is genuine, I have no idea who placed it. No rigged auctions here! rtf-1 (81 • Sunday, 15 February 2026 )Has this had a respray? Looks to be paint overspray on the underbody eddsel37 (40 • 7:14 pm, Mon, 16 Feb )Hi, the owner is under the impression it hasn't been resprayed, but I can't give you a conclusive answer sorry. Certainly not in the 15 years he's had it. It's 56 years old though so its possible at some point it could have had one, but like I said, I can't provide a conclusive answer. rtf-1 (81 • Monday, 16 February 2026 )Also what areas have been bogged? eddsel37 (40 • 7:16 pm, Mon, 16 Feb )No areas of bog that are known to the owner. He's never had anything along those lines done in his 15 years ownership. When I was cleaning it prior to taking some photos I didn't notice anything that would suggest a bogged area. You are more than welcome to come view it with a paint depth gauge and a magnet to draw your own conclusions if you want! Cheers rtf-1 (81 • Monday, 16 February 2026 )Thanks eddsel37 (40 • 9:20 am, Tue, 17 Feb )No worries. rtf-1 (81 • Tuesday, 17 February 2026 )Sorry could you please remove my bid, Lovely car but I must have pocket bid on it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks jen6869 (128 • 2:53 pm, Tue, 17 Feb )Sure thing, I've removed it. rtf-1 (81 • Tuesday, 17 February 2026 )
